      • Fundamentals of Outside Broadcast – Understanding how live production is set up outside the studio. 
      • Fundamentals of Live TV and Live Edits – Key workflows, language and challenges in live broadcasting. 
      • Vision – Camera work, vision mixing and directing live shots. 
      • Audio – The role of sound in live television and managing audio feeds. 
      • Production – Coordinating a live broadcast, from scripting to execution, with a focus on clear and professional communication.

      Who is leading the course?

      Piotr Szymborski, an international EVS engineer and replay operator, has designed the course, which will be delivered by our in-house trainers. With nearly 20 years of experience in live broadcasting, he has worked on over 100 major productions worldwide, including five Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and the MTV Music Awards. He has collaborated with top artists like Shakira, Celine Dion, and Hans Zimmer, as well as Hollywood legends such as Morgan Freeman and Anthony Hopkins.

      Piotr is also the founder of the University of Television, a global training platform dedicated to equipping the next generation of broadcast professionals with practical skills and industry insights. His extensive expertise and close collaboration with renowned live event director Hamish Hamilton make him a leading figure in the field.
